Some stories just refuse to stay small. I often start with a single idea. a quiet spark—and then suddenly, there’s a whole world in front of me, too complex and too full of life to be squeezed into one book. I’m not great at short stories—in fact, I’m practically incapable of it—so instead, I end up with series. Sometimes two books, sometimes six. Sometimes… more?!
